Mass Design started out in 1986 with a vision to design print circuit boards that could be manufactured cost effectively. We have not strayed from that vision, building a company that designs, fabricates and assembles PCB's all in our 72,000 square foot building located in Nashua, NH. This unique approach lets Mass Design employees get immediate feedback throughout the design/build process.
Our CAM engineers give constant feed back to our design staff. Our assembly staff will even look over designs before they are finished to make sure they are manufacturable for automated equipment. We even have a prototype evaluation sheet to give feedback back to engineering allowing for designs to be modified before they go to volume production. We do all this while we increase quality and reduce the time it takes to get a project ready for market. Our integrated approach allows for one PO, a quicker hand-off to fabrication, earlier procurement of components, less time required to manage the project by the customer and ultimately a lower total cost for the project.
While others talk about design for manufacturability, Mass Design has been practicing it for 20 years!
Even customers who are only using one or two of our services benefit from our "integrated knowledge". We often make suggestions and recheck items such as:
- changes in stackups
- pallet sizes
- math calculations for impedance
- finishes
- material types
