Duties:

  • Responsible for the hand soldering, solder touch-up and rework of a wide variety of thru-hole and SMT electronic assemblies in a high mix, quick turn environment.
  • Duties include solder touch-up of assemblies after reflow, solder touch-up of solder defects as identified by final inspection, hand soldering of both SMT and thru-hole components including fine pitch, rework and incorporation of customer ECNs on assemblies per provided instructions including etch cuts, jumper wires, and component removal.
  • Mechanical assembly including hardware, brackets, pems, crimping

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards
  • Ability to read and understand Assembly Instructions, BOM, drawings and notes.
  • Proper use of solder iron and hot air gun to install, remove, replace, or touch-up various thru-hole and surface mount components down to 0201 package size.
  • Min 2+ years working experience in PCB Assembly
  • Able to communicate in English

Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior PCB Assembly Inspector to join our team, for the inspection of assembled printed circuit boards (PCBs). The primary goal of this position is to identify flaws that may have been manufactured into the product during processing, using magnifying equipment and using the documentation provided.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform all types of visual inspection related to assembled printed circuit boards using magnification equipment.
  • Perform solder inspection for BOTH Through-Hole and SMT defects.
  • Segregate and identify circuit boards with defects.
  • Inspect each board for value, polarity and placement and identify the errors causing the defects in the proper reports.
  • Compare shop traveler quantity to final count and notify supervisor in cases of discrepancy. Complete reject report, sign traveler and input data into final log.
  • Obtain final report package and move to the shipping department.
  • Certified or previously certified to IPC 610.
  • Maintain a safe, neat and orderly workplace
      

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to read, write and communicate in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
  • Understand basic arithmetic in reference to instructions where interpretations are required
  • Understanding of prints and specifications including bills of material
  • Ability to visually verify fine detail work
  • Ability to understand and follow directions regarding the inspection of assembled printed circuit boards
  • Moderate physical lifting or moving of final finished circuit boards (approx. 5-10 lbs.)
  • AOI experience is a plus!
     

Education and Experience: 

  • Minimum of (2) Years of Experience inspecting Printed Circuit Boards/Assemblies
  • Certified or Previously Certified to IPC-610
  • Perform inspections using visual inspection tools
  • Proof of USA Citizenship (ITAR)

Overview:

We are seeking a skilled SMT Operator to join our team. The SMT Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining surface mount technology (SMT) equipment to assemble electronic components onto printed circuit boards (PCBs). This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate SMT equipment, including solder paste printer, pick-and-place machines (Mycronic/MyData), and reflow oven (Vitronics).
  • Set up boxes and feeders
  • Verify placement programs
  • Evaluate paste print
  • Inspect components and PCBs for defects and quality issues
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions or process errors
  • Adjust machines while running a job if necessary
  • Evaluate solder condition after reflow
  • Perform some manual part placement
  • Follow assembly instructions, work orders, and engineering drawings
  • Perform routine maintenance on SMT equipment to ensure optimal performance

  • Utilize RF scanners to track inventory levels and movements
  • Handle shipping and receiving tasks efficiently
  • Load and unload materials for storage or shipment
  • Package items securely for distribution
  • Perform order picking accurately
  • Conduct stockroom organization and maintenance

Experience:

  • Prior experience in a stockroom and kitting environment would be preferred
  • Proficiency in using RF scanners for inventory management
  • Experience with order picking and kitting processes
  • Familiarity with shipping, receiving, and inventory control procedures
